Mark Brown was admitted to practice as a solicitor on 8th July 1983. Prior to entering private practice, he held various positions within the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia including Deputy Registrar in each Court. He was also a Deputy Registrar of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Since entering private practice in 1983 Mark has specialised in the area of family law. He worked as an employed solicitor in Campbelltown for 2 years and has, since 1985, practiced in Liverpool, and from the same premises since 1988. Mark was accredited by the Law Society of NSW as a Family Law Specialist in 1995. He has appeared in all jurisdictions handling family law matters, including the local Court, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (divisions 1 and 2), the full Court of the Family Court, and the High Court of Australia.

In attempting to resolve family law issues, the assistance of an experienced practitioner is invaluable, and Mark is one of the most experienced family law practitioners in the south-west region of Sydney. He is highly regarded by other solicitors, who often refer clients to Mark for Family Law issues. In any negotiations or Court proceedings, Mark brings a no nonsense, practical approach so as to achieve the best possible outcome for clients whilst minimising expenditure in legal costs.

Mark is married with children and grandchildren, enjoys travel, the beach, needs coffee by about 10:30am, and enjoys red wine!
